Our club has a diverse membership with interests ranging from short-wave listening,  HF/VHF/UHF communications,  Satellites,  Computing,  Digital Radio,  Contests,  Construction,  Theory,  Morse Code,  Antenna Design amongst many other topics.

Our club is a group of friendly enthusiasts, who have many years of radio experimentation experience. We have a varied range of talks and workshops throughout the year covering radio related topics and emerging technologies, and construction nights where you can create and build your own radio based projects. We also hold weekend field days, compete in a range of contests, and organise DX'peditions to provide contacts for various world-wide award programmes.

If you would like to know more about amateur radio or associated radio technologies we'd encourage you to become a member of Tynemouth Radio Club. It's open to all and provides an opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills in radio. If you are interested, get in touch or just come along on a Friday evening.
